Color Dare #233 ~ Black, White Daisy, Pomegranate, Peacock and Sea Glass

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #233 we are challenging you to combine BLACK, WHITE DAISY, POMEGRANATE, PEACOCK & SEA GLASS.

So I have to admit I struggled with this on a bit.  I love the colors together, but I just could not come up with a design.  Here is what I came up with…

So for this card I went for my Uptown Fundamentals with my Enchanted Fundamentals.  I also used my Sea Glass Glitter paper. I used the Hearts Thin cuts and Flower Market Cartridge for the flowers.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #233 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday March 9, 2017 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop ~ Adore You

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!  This month we are featuring January’s stamp of the month ~Adore You (S1701) a set of 12.

If you are coming here from WENDY KESSLER’S Blog, then you are in the right spot ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.  This month we have around 20 consultants participating this month so you are sure to be inspired.

I have been planning to design my family calendar but time has not been my friend these last few months. So needless to say I am running behind and have only completed the first 6 months. The good news is I have started and will have it done this week (I hope :-)). While I was working on it I decided to incorporate this months stamp set on April as I felt the colors would be perfect for flowers.

One thing I do when I make my calendar is I use a photo from that month the year before.  Well I forgot that it snowed for Easter last year in April so maybe I should have done snowflakes instead of flowers…. The colors still work and I am hoping for a more traditional spring day for this year’s Easter.

For the April calendar page I used the Enchantment Paper Pack and for this layout the colors are Poppy and Fern. I used my Black Archival ink to stamp the Adore You flowers.  I used Poppy ink with the Bistro Script Stamp Set.  The hearts are stamped in fern using the Way to Go Stamp Set.  I used the PML – Tabbed Journaling Cards to mat the photo.  Then it was put into a 6 X 12 Memory Protector Flip Flap.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of January and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

Your next stop is along this hop is GINA BRANDSTETTER’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Thank You Cards ~ Enchantment

I wanted to share with you some thank you cards that were part of our Convention Make-n-Takes.  We were given an Enchanted Card Workshop which makes 64 thank you cards!!! I finally got around to completing them as that is a lot of cards.  There were two versions of each of the eight card desins.  I decided to add a little bling and change up some of the color combinations.  Here is how they turned out.

Convention Cards 3 ~ Thank you ~ Enchanted Fundamentals ~ CatScrapbooking.comThis was the first design and I did them just as the examples showed.

Thank you cards ~ Enchanted Fundamentals ~ Convention cards 1 ~ CatScrapbooking.comI then began to play around with the colors – I did not photograph all of the versions I made.
