For my letter “C” I decided to scrapbook a layout of one of our trips to the COLORADO Rail Road Museum on CHRISTMAS Eve which includes a COUPLE photos of a CABOOSE.  I COMBINED two paper packs, Urban and the CRANBERRY B&T from Jubilee (retired) along with COLONIAL white CARDSTOCK.  What is interesting is the paper from Jubilee and one of the Urban papers have a CRACKLE appearance. I also used my CRICUT to cut the title and RR signs.  Okay I know enough with the “C” words here is my layout.

My Layout Challenge #3

I have given myself a challenge of designing at least one layout a week.  So far I am doing great and have actually designed more than that :-).  I have been wanting to design this layout and when I saw the adorable Spring Critters I knew they would make this layout work. Here is the layout I am using for my week #3 using a lot of the new product from the Seasonal Expressions Idea Book.

Christmas Cards ~ White Pines

Are you ready for some more Holiday cards?  Here are two that I designed after seeing Donna Digby’s design for Color Dare #165.  I loved her ornaments card and knew I needed to recreate one myself.  Here is the link to her original card.

Here is my take on the card:

If you follow my blog then you know I have designed a WREATH WITH WHITE Pines.  I so love the way this one turned out and plan to make one more like the one I designed with the Scaredy Cat paper.  I plan to make it a larger like that one and only with the B&T paper.  But here is this one with the White Pines and Cranberry.

Cone Wreath ~ White Pines ~ ABC's W ~ CatScrapbooking.comThe holly is cut from the new Artistry Cartridge on page 48. The rosette and doily are from the Artiste Cartridges.  The holly balls are from a floral piece I picked up at Hobby Lobby.  The cones are 5″ x 5″ for the first layer and the second is 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″.  The finished wreath is about 13 inches in diameter.

HoHoHo Glass Block

I am definitely getting into the holiday spirit a little early.  I decided to design a fun holiday glass block.  HoHoHo Glass Block ~ Holiday Glass Block ~Artiste ~ CatScrapbooking.comThe HoHoHo is from the Artiste cartridge.  I did a bit of slicing in order to make the middle “Ho” its own cut.  This way I could make it two tone.  The snowflakes are from Artistry.  I added the fake snow and a mini strand of lights.  I am really pleased the way this turned out.
