Have you seen the super cute coffee cup on page 5 of the new Artistry Cricut cartridge? I have seen a lot of great artwork using it on cards but I got to thinking wouldn’t it be great to make it into a sleeve with a gift card holder??? I saw a couple on Pinterest one designed by Krista Hershberger which helped me with the inspiration. I decided to make it a pocket style card so I went to Design Space to create this card.
Here is what it looks like when you pull up the white lid.The pattern paper part of the cup is actually two parts, I added wings on to one side so they can be adjoined to make a sleeve. I use part of a sleeve to make the gift card insert. Here is the LINK for the Design Space file, you will need both the Artistry and Artiste cartridge if you wish to use it.
Here is the full list of supplies used:
- Paper Pack ~ Zoe X7197B
- Cardstock ~ Sorbet, Glacier, Kraft, and White Daisy
- Stamp Set ~ Thousand Thanks C1625
- Embellishments ~ Bitty Sparkles Z1263
- Ink ~ Cocoa
I made a bunch of these for a craft fair I will be participating in next month. I think they will go over well particularly as Teacher Gift Cards.
