Color Dare 251 ~ Gold, Black, White Daisy, Juniper, Lemon, & Sorbet

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #251 we are challenging you to combine Gold, Black, White Daisy, Juniper, Lemon & Sorbet.

These are some of the colors of Prickly Pear Paper pack so that is what I used to create my card.  I have been wanting to use this adorable Llama for a while and now was my chance.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #251 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday July 13, 2017 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Guy Birthday Card

My husband’s birthday was last week and my son helped me pick out the design.  My son wanted to do a monster truck card as the theme.  Here is what I designed.

For this card I used Sugar Rush Paper pack and the Enchantment Fundamental Papers.  I used a retired stamp set Maximum Power D1564.  I used CTMH Archival Black ink and then used my watercolors to add color

Everything ABC’s Blog Hop ~ Letter U

Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop!!!

ABC's Blog BadgeThis week we will be featuring the letter “U”.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “U” element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, welcome!  If you just hopped here from DARLYS RECKER’S BLOG then you are in the right place.   The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating consultants at the bottom of this post.

The letter U can be a bit UNIQUE in coming UP with design ideas.  So I am going with the UNIQUE factor.  When you watercolor each design is UNIQUE.  So I have a single design using different papers and two different stamps.

I decided to go with Georgie as my “G” element.  I really love this paper and only wish it had been released when I was still scrapbooking my son’s baby photos.  It still is really cute paper which can be used for baby cards and birthday cards, take a look….

Georgie ~ Baby Card 1 ~ CatScrapbooking.comI used watercolor on the White Daisy to create a background that the stork would show up on.

Georgie ~ Baby Card 2 ~ congratulations ~ CatScrapbooking.comI could not resist using these adorable elephants on a congratulations card.

Georgie ~ Happy Birthday ~ CatScrapbooking.comThis one I turned into a birthday card.

Well I could not resist the opportunity to create a card and wish Jeanette a happy birthday.  Here is the card I designed.

Charlotte Birthday Bouquet ~ Springtime Wishes ~ Thin cuts ~ CatScrapbooking.comI thought a bouquet of Springtime Wishes flowers would be most fitting.  I watercolored some and just stamped other on pattern paper.  I even used one of the B&T papers and cut out some of the leaves.
