I decided to use the Gimme Some Sugar paper pack with Bashful and Daisy White Cardstock. I stamped the word “kind” with Memento Ink and then use our watercolors to fill it in.  I used a combination of Bashful and Blossom inks.

March Stamp of the Month ~ Birthday Time

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!! This month we are featuring March’s stamp of the month ~Birthday Time (S1803) a set of 26.

If you are coming here from MICHELLE STEWART’S Blog, then you are in the right spot ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.  This month we have around 25 consultants participating this month so you are sure to be inspired.

So I am still in love and have not been able to break away from the Stargazer stamp sets so I decided to blend the Stargazer Scrapbooking set with Birthday Time.

I used a background die that I had in my stash to cut the Pacifica cardstock.  I then chose Canary cardstock to back the Pacifica. I found a flame on my Cricut Subscription which I cut and then trimmed a little to get it to fit with the space ship. I used my silver embossing power on the ship and my markers to color.  For the planets I stamped the Saturn twice once in Ruby and once in Fern.  I cut the Ruby ring out and colored it in, then pieced with the Fern Saturn. I added yellow marker to the other Ruby planet.

I decided to try another background after watching this Video.  So I used watercolor paper and our inks.

I used some washi tape to hold the Water Color paper down. I then used Sapphire ink.  I squeezed the pad together while closed so ink is put onto the top. I then wet the watercolor paper and picked up ink with my brush and painted the paper.  I then did the same thing with Lemon ink but plastered the ink.  I then took my Shimmer Brush and did the same thing as the Lemon.

So for this one I also used the Stargazer Scrapbooking stamp set Fern and Ruby Inks and bitty sparkles.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of March and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

I got an idea to make a card to using all the months of the year.  I could not find a stamp set to match the sentiment I had in mind so I created one.

For this card I used the basic fundamentals for the base.  I then used Linen cardstock to stamp the months of the year with Pewter ink.  I then used velum to soften the stamped Linen.  I also used Heather cardstock for the banner which I cut with the cricut and used black pen to write the sentiment.  The Love you is our silver cardstock also cut on the cricut.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of November and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

I was really drawn to the snow globe so I know that would be the stamp set I wanted to focus on.  I decided I used one of the Adventure fundamental paper for the background to emboss.

I also though I would grey to stamp on the silver foil paper with the Archival Black ink which work.  Just let it sit for a couple of minutes before you touch it. I did a bit of fussy cutting with the silver foil, Pewter cardstock and the White cardstock.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of October and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

That pencil totally caught my eye, so my card centered around the pencil image.  My son is starting kindergarten this year and though this may be a great card to give him on his first day. Hard to believe school starts in just three weeks.

For this card I used the new Enchanted Fundamental Papers.  I used my shinhan markers to color the pencils.

Hello Foxy

Don’t you just adore this cute stamp set for this month’s Stamp of the Month?  If you don’t know I adore foxes so I am obsessed.  I had some fun making these cards.

These two were using the same design that I used for Color Dare #247 last week.   I loved the way it turned out I wanted to make more in different colors.

This card was actually designed by Susan Williams who is so incredibly talented.  I love what she did with her cards which you can see here.  I made mine a little different.

If you love this stamp set Then you will want to purchase it soon as it is only available until June 3oth!!
