I decided to design a couple of cards using the Grateful Heart papers.

Here are the two that I came up with.

For this card I used pattern 2 from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 4.  I used the Greatful Heart papers and one of the new Decorative Borders Thin Cuts. I backed the flower border with Pomegranate and then added a little Liquid Glass.  I also used the Heart Thin Cuts to cut the Saffron heart. I also added a few Gold Glitter Gems.

For this card I changed up one of the Optional Cards in the Workshop Your Way kit. I changed out some of the papers and the sentiment.

This stamp set is wonderful as there are soooo many ways you could use it.  here are two that I came up with.

The first one I created was this one.

I used the new Boutique Paper Pack.  I loved the PML card from this pack as my pattern paper. I then used Peacock, Glacier and Sugarplum. I masked the Sentiment with Peacock and Sugarplum.

I also used the new Sugarplum Shimmer brush to add a bit of glimmer to the card.  It is hard to see but the dots and drops I added the shimmer.  I also added it to the the peppermints.

For this card I used the Hello Pumpkin paper pack. I love the Ghost from the Hello Pumpkin Scrapbooking Stamp Set but I really wanted the reverse image too.  So I googled how to do it and found this video.   I also used the Hello Pumpkin Washi Tape.

I wanted to add a bit of shimmer to this as well so I used the new Black Shimmer Brush for the eyes, drops, dots and the “no”. I also masked the sentiment with Black, Nectarine and Pansy.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of September and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

August Stamp of the Month ~ For the Love of Crafting

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!! This month we are featuring AUGUST’s stamp of the month ~ FOR THE LOVE OF CRAFTING (S1808) a set of 9.

I know I want to create a layout with this stamp set to document my love of crafting but I realized I really do not have any photos of me doing what I love.  I have snapped a few of my son who has taken to wanting to craft with me.  So I am thinking I will need to incorporate those into to it.  So for now I am going to focus on a card I was inspired to crate.

I used the masking technique to stamp the sentiments in Eggplant and Black.  I did use the coordinating Cricut cut for the larger sentiment which I cut using Bashful.  I then used my stitch guide ruler to create the stitch look around the Linen card stock.  I used the Documented paper for the background and accented it with Eggplant and Bashful cardstock.  I also used the scissors Cricut cut from You are Here cartridge.  You can find both Cricut cuts HERE.

No crafting project is complete with out a little shine so I used my liquid glass to make the hearts pop and added a few gems.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of August and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

There are so many great stamps in this set I was not sure how I wanted to use it.  I could totally see how I could incorporate it in a layout; however, time is not working in my favor as I am about to put our house on the market.  So I wanted to see how I could incorporate this stamp set into a card.  Here is my creation.

I focused on the car stamp and crated a fun pattern.  I colored them with my markers.  I used a card pattern from the Make it from Your Heart Volume 2.  I used the Central Park Paper Pack.  The “Happy” is from the Central Park Cardmaking Stamp Set. I added a couple of the Central Park Sequins for pop and a little White Ribbon.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of July and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

You can’t help but fall in love with adorable girl.  So of course I wanted to focus on her.

So I had an idea to sponge an apple behind this cute little girl.  I used the apple Cricut cut from Artbooking. I sliced the apple with a card base shape and then cut.  I then used the pieces to mask off the areas like this.

I used  my scissors to cut the stem and leaf so they were separate pieces.  I placed the apple and stem pieces to sponge the leaf with Fern.  I then placed the leaf piece and removed the stem to sponge in the stem area using Nutmeg and Espresso inks. Next I sponged the apple.

Placing the stem and leaf pieces I sponged the apple in Ruby.

I used my ShinHan markers to color the little girl and stamped the sentiment on Fern cardstock.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of June and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

I love this jar!! I knew that would be the center of my creation.  I decided to do a jar full of flowers.  I really am happy with how it turned out.  I crated more of a jar look by using white daisy cardstock as the base of the jar then stamped the jar image on velum to layer.

Here is a side view so you can see that layering.

For this card I got to play with a few of the new products from the Seasonal Expressions 2 that is now live!! I used Beautiful Friendship paper pack for the background. The flowers are Trillium Cluster – #MD6F60F which is from Flower Market.  I did slice some of the stems and leave off a few flowers but wanted to create a cluster.  I used Canary, Nutmeg, Linen and Fern as the colors for the flowers.  I used the Fresh Air Cardmaking and Die set for the sentiment.  I masked the stamp so I could get the Smile in canary ink.  I added a little of the Blue Burlap Ribbon and Clear Sparkles to finish off the card.  I did watercolor a bit of blue on the white stamped jar.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of May and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

March Stamp of the Month ~ Birthday Time

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!! This month we are featuring March’s stamp of the month ~Birthday Time (S1803) a set of 26.

If you are coming here from MICHELLE STEWART’S Blog, then you are in the right spot ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.  This month we have around 25 consultants participating this month so you are sure to be inspired.

So I am still in love and have not been able to break away from the Stargazer stamp sets so I decided to blend the Stargazer Scrapbooking set with Birthday Time.

I used a background die that I had in my stash to cut the Pacifica cardstock.  I then chose Canary cardstock to back the Pacifica. I found a flame on my Cricut Subscription which I cut and then trimmed a little to get it to fit with the space ship. I used my silver embossing power on the ship and my markers to color.  For the planets I stamped the Saturn twice once in Ruby and once in Fern.  I cut the Ruby ring out and colored it in, then pieced with the Fern Saturn. I added yellow marker to the other Ruby planet.

I decided to try another background after watching this Video.  So I used watercolor paper and our inks.

I used some washi tape to hold the Water Color paper down. I then used Sapphire ink.  I squeezed the pad together while closed so ink is put onto the top. I then wet the watercolor paper and picked up ink with my brush and painted the paper.  I then did the same thing with Lemon ink but plastered the ink.  I then took my Shimmer Brush and did the same thing as the Lemon.

So for this one I also used the Stargazer Scrapbooking stamp set Fern and Ruby Inks and bitty sparkles.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of March and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!
