I love some of our background stamps, in particular the paw prints. So of course I needed to crate something with this stamp set.

For this card I used the Faithful Friend and Paws stamp set. I chose pomegranate as the color to highlight next to the neutrals.  I used Heather Cardstock and the Basic Fundamentals.

Color Dare #275 ~ Fern, Heather and Bashful

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #275 we are challenging you to use (All and Only) these CTMH Colors: FERN, HEATHER, and BASHFUL with Optional GOLD.  You are able to use neutrals – Black and White in your design. You can check out the new rules HERE

I was looking over images in my Flower Market Cricut Cartridge and saw the daffodil image and decided that would be the focus of my card. I used one of the sentiments from this month’s Stamp of the Month ~ Bloom & Grow.

CTMH Technique Blog Hop ~ Glitter is Glamorous

I so love our glitter paper as it cuts so beautifully with our cricut cartridges. I decided to create a holiday card based off one I had pinned, you can see it here.

All of the images are from the Flower Market Cartridge.  The “Peace” is using Aeolus font. I added some more glitter by using our Shimmer Brush on the poinsettia. I added a little gold glitter gem to the center of my poinsettia. Here is a close up of the poinsettia.

Color Dare #272 ~ Traditional Christmas Colors

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #272 we are doing a Christmas Extravaganza this whole month. We will feature creations using Traditional Colors.  For this challenge use Only Reds & Greens, White Daisy and/or your choice of one Neutral.

So I needed to create a few tags and thought they would be great for this challenge.

I slimply used Ruby, New England Ivy and White Daisy cardstock.  I used a touch of gold embossing on the “&”  and I did use gold shimmer on the Joy tag, however, it is not showing up.

For this card I used several images you can find on page 24 (#m2762c8a, #m2762c6c, & #m2762pf7).  I used some scraps I cut like waves or snow drifts, then inked them with Crystal Blue.  I used the confetti/sparkles from Birthday Sparkles to make the snow by masking off sections.

I used the Merry Christmas Stamp set again with Crystal Blue ink.

December Stamp of the Month Blog Hop ~ A Little Bit of Pun

I thought it would be fun to create some small valentine’s cards that my son may want to use for his school Valentine’s Day.

I started with a 2″ by 2 3/4″ white card base.  I stamped and watercolored then matted on a 2 1/4″ by 3″ color cardstock.  Then on the back side I added another white card base with to/from and happy Valentine’s Day.

Color Dare #273 ~ Christmas Extravaganza Non-Traditional

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #273 we are doing a Christmas Extravaganza this whole month. I LOVE Siberian Huskies!!! I was scrolling through Instagram and saw a design using an adorable husky puppy and I knew I needed to have it.  It is a stamp set called Polar Playmates by Sunny Studio Stamps.

Color Dare #271 ~ Beary Christmas

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #271 offers a very versatile color selection using the palette from CTMH Paper Pack “Beary Christmas”. So many colors to choose from…and you are in charge.  Challenging you to use at least 3 (including neutrals) and as many as 9 of these CTMH Colors: Fern, New England Ivy, Cranberry, Glacier, Tangerine, White Daisy, Pebble, Pewter and Charcoal.

I love this fun paper pack!  I wanted to use some of the cute PML Cards that come with the papers.

For this card I used the cute racoon PML card.  I trimmed it to 4 x 5 1/4.  I when used the Wreath stamp set and coordinating die to stamp and cut on New England Ivy with New England Ivy ink. I then colored the leaves using my Shin Hann marker ~ Leaf Green. I then added a few Red Gems.  I stamped the Merry Christmas stamp set in Cranberry.

Now it is your turn to create! I decided to focus on the Whimsy Fundamentals for my Card.

I just had surgery on my right arm and I am right handed so I needed to design something that would be easy to put together. For this card I used the Berry Christmas paper pack with the Silver & Gold Cardmaking Stamp set.  The sentiment is Merry Christmas Stamp Set and the oval is cut with oval thin cuts. I used the Berry Christmas Dots for accents.
