Color Dare #329 ~ Love of Color

Welcome to another week of Color Dare!  This week we are doing another Love of Color challenge.  We have chosen a color pallet for you with six colors.  How to play… you will design something using at least 3 of these colors. Please note Grays and Whites are free but no other colors.

I chose to use Peach, Smoothie, Mint, Linen and a touch of Gold.

I have been wanting to play with our new Stitched Quilted Thin Cuts. So I though this would be the perfect time to give them a whirl.  I used mostly cardstock – Linen, Smoothie, Mint and Peach.  I did use a pattern stamp set to stamp the lighter side of the Peach Cardstock. I really do love the fact our cardstock has the lighter shade on the reverse of the cardstock.  I did use the mint pattern paper from the I Heart Us paper pack.

I added a touch of gold with the gem in the center.  The happy birthday is from Lawn Fawn.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #329 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Happy Crafting!

  1. Beautiful selection of everything using design paper, your personalized stamped design and along with the cardstock colors on both sides…very pretty. I’ll take a quilt like that please , my bedroom needs a new paint color though…but I’m in for that.

  2. You just convinced me that I have to have this set of dies… this card is gorgeous! Stamping on the one set of “quilt pieces” was a terrific idea because it gives them that little bit of added texture. I love everything about this card!

  3. Oooohhhhhh this is SO pretty! I love everything about it! I feel a lift coming on!
