Color Dare #285 ~ Bashful, Pebble, and Raspberry

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #285 we are challenging you to use (All and Only) these CTMH Colors: BASHFUL, PEBBLE,  and RASPBERRY.  You are able to use neutrals – Black and White in your design. You can check out the rules HERE.

I had a few of these flowers and butterflies already sitting on my desk from my Spring Banner I created which you can see HERE. I decided to use them to represent the Bashful.  Then I looked for Raspberry and found the Raspberry fundamental paper.

For this card I wanted to soften the Raspberry so I used a velum as an overlay.  I added Bashful glitter paper behind the sentiment.  I used both sides of the pebble to the darker for the base and the lighter for the sentiment.  I also used second generation Raspberry ink for the sentiment.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #285 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday. April 5, 2018 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Happy Crafting!

  1. This is such a soft and pretty card. I love the 3D flowers and butterfly.

  2. Ah, the wonders of our double-sided cardstock! The flowers are terrific and the muting of the background paper with vellum is perfect for this card. Gorgeous 🙂

  3. The vellum really does tone down that bright raspberry, and looks great with the blossom. Beautiful card.

  4. Your 3D layered flowers and butterfly are so pretty! I love your choice of patterned paper and the glitter paper panel. Just lovely!
