I just had surgery on my right arm and I am right handed so I needed to design something that would be easy to put together. I love how with all these coordinating elements make it so simple to put something together.  For this card I used the Whimsy Fundamental Paper Pack, Whimsy Coordinating Ribbon, Inspire Complements, and White Pearls.

I just got the adorable Tree Line Border Thin Cuts so I knew I wanted to play with them.

I cut the full length version of the Tree Line Border for the top layer and stamped the sentiment in Sapphire ink from Silver & Gold Cardmaking stamp set. I then used the partial tree line to piece together two parts to make the back layer. I then added some clear and bitty sparkles.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please continue onto ANNEMARIE JULIAN’S BLOG where you will find some additional artwork highlighting this technique!  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought of my variation and happy hopping!

Color Dare #269 ~ Glacier, Bashful, Toffee, White and Black

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #269 we are challenging you to use (All and Only) these CTMH Colors: GLACIER, BASHFUL, TOFFEE, WHITE and BLACK.

With our challenges you have two weeks to participate which gives you more time and flexibility to create  – but please don’t wait for the closing date to submit your entry. Winners will be announced at the close of each challenge.

You may have noticed the new color palette layout. This was designed for better clarification of the colors. CTMH cardstock has the actual color on one side and the other side is a lighter variance of the same color.
I have been wanting to play with this cool stamp set and thought this would be the perfect opportunity.  I used the Faithful Friend Stamp Set, Bashful Glitter paper, Whimsy Fundamentals, and Glacier, Toffee, and White Cardstock.
Here is the inside of the card.
Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #269 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday November 23, 2017 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

November Stamp of the Month ~ Through the Year

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!! This month we are featuring October’s stamp of the month ~Through the Year (S1711) a set of 28.

If you are coming here from WENDY KESSLER’S Blog, then you are in the right spot ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.  This month we have around 20 consultants participating this month so you are sure to be inspired.

I got an idea to make a card to using all the months of the year.  I could not find a stamp set to match the sentiment I had in mind so I created one.

For this card I used the basic fundamentals for the base.  I then used Linen cardstock to stamp the months of the year with Pewter ink.  I then used velum to soften the stamped Linen.  I also used Heather cardstock for the banner which I cut with the cricut and used black pen to write the sentiment.  The Love you is our silver cardstock also cut on the cricut.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of November and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!
