Color Dare 237 ~ Thistle, Lagoon, Tangerine and White Daisy

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #237 we are challenging you to combine THISTLE, LAGOON, TANGERINE and WHITE DAISY.

I have been wanting to play around with the adorable Sweet Birthday stamp set and thought this may be the perfect opportunity.

I used the fun Happy Thoughts Embossing Folder for the base and then played with some of the fundamental papers and White Embossing powder.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #237 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday April 6, 2017 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Color Dare #235 ~ Dreamin’ Big

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #235 we are challenging you to combine to use the Dreamin’ Big Color pallet.  Our usual challenge is to use “all and only” the featured colors, however, ten colors to combine are quite a challenge! So, for this challenge we are asking you to use at least 4 of the colors (excluding the neutrals) without adding new colors from the Dreamin’ Big Color palette.

I love this paper pack as it will be perfect for so many projects.  Today I am sharing a birthday card I created using the cut bugs.

For this card I used Colonial White cardstock for the background.  I then took Sea Glass, Chrystal Blue and Glacier to make the water side.  I created the sand look with Dessert Sands, Champagne and Cashmere using a sponge.  I then watercolored the shells.  I used Sea Glass glitter paper and Kraft cardstock.
