color-dare-221-leaves-always-grateful-catscrapbooking-comWhen I saw the colors I instantly thought of fall so I grabbed my Lovely Leaves stamp set.  I used clear embossing powder on the stamped leaves so the Colonial White would show.  I then sponged Goldrush, Poppy, and Saffron inks.

Please note Color My Heart is looking for a new design team member.  Please check the Color Dare blog for details.  The term will run from January 2017 to June 2017.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #221 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday December 1, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Happy Crafting!

  1. What a pretty card! This twine is a great touch.

  2. Love your sponged background, and now I know what to do with my colonial ink…I don’t think I have ever used it and the clear embossing looks great against the background…very pretty fall card.

  3. Fabulous card, Cat! I love how beautiful your sponging came out! Thanks for inspiring me yet again!
    🙂 Marie

  4. I love your blended colors. So lovely – especially for a background of leaves.
