For this weeks challenge I thought of flowers (gee that’s a surprise since I LOVE the Flower Market Cartridge -right?).  Well I played around with Flower Market and the With You D1705 stamp set.

color-dare-215-flower-market-with-you-catscrapbooking-comI trimmed the right edge of the card so Cotton Candy would show through.  Here is what the inside looks like.

Everything ABC’s Blog Hop ~ Letter U

Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop!!!

ABC's Blog BadgeThis week we will be featuring the letter “U”.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “U” element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, welcome!  If you just hopped here from DARLYS RECKER’S BLOG then you are in the right place.   The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating consultants at the bottom of this post.

The letter U can be a bit UNIQUE in coming UP with design ideas.  So I am going with the UNIQUE factor.  When you watercolor each design is UNIQUE.  So I have a single design using different papers and two different stamps.

natures-wish-moose-elk-catscrapbooking-comHere they are individually.

natures-wish-moose-guy-birthday-card-catscrapbooking-com natures-wish-elk-guy-birthday-woodgrain-catscrapbooking-comFor these two I used Kraft cardstock and the new woodgrain embossing folder.  I then took bamboo ink to one and Champagne ink to the other and ran my ink pad over the raised surface.

Sugar Skull Cards

I just cannot get enough of these Sugar Skulls whether it is form the Flower Market Cartridge or the adorable Sugar Skull Stamp set. Here are two more Sugar Skull cards.

jeepers-creepers-sugar-skull-catscrapbooking-comFor this card I used Jeepers Creepers paper pack, Flower Market – Sugar Skull, and Sugar Skull stamp set.  I used my blender pen to add the willow green to the stamped leaves.

oct2016badgeIf you are coming here from WENDY KESSLER’S Blog, then you are in the right spot ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.  This month we have around 30 consultants participating this month so you are sure to be inspired.

yuletide-joy-2016It was actually quite fun to create a festive card for the Holidays.

yuletide-joy-2016I decided to incorporate my favorite thing the New Flower Market Cartridge to create a fun accent with this adorable stocking.  I used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the stocking.   I then used watercolors to add color to this stamped stocking.  The Flower Market cuts Holly Berry #MD7AA86,  Holly Branch Bundle #MD72DD2, and Pine Needles Branch #MD67851. I used the Red Enamel Gems Z3090 to replace the holly berries associate with the holly berry leaves. I added a little white watercolor splatter and used my white gel pen to make the stitching.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of September and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!
