Welcome to the Technique Blog Hop!
This month we are featuring the Close to My Heart Thin Cuts! What is a thin cut? Well these are thin metal dies that you use with a embossing/die cutting machine. I love these dies as you can watercolor and or ink you image then cut it out. If you just hopped onto my blog or arrived from MELISSA ROBINSON’S Blog then you are in the right place. This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork.
I decided to play around with the My Anchor thin cuts and watercolors.
I used a piece of watercolor paper and masked of using tape. I painted the land, the water, and the sky. I then painted more water colors on another piece of watercolor paper. I used the waves thin cut to cut out the various shades of waves. I used ink to stamp the other images.
