Thank You Gift Card Set

Do you follow CTMH on Instagram?  Well a couple of weeks ago they showed a technique of using spray pens to color a Cricut cut sentiment.  Well I loved it and could not wait to try it.  Here are my cards.

Thank you card sets ~ catscrapbooking.comFor this set I used Pear, Lagoon and Smoothie reinkers mixed with rubbing alcohol as it will dry faster than water.  I used the Quatrafoil, Diamond and Dot embossing folders.  I really love this look so simple but the outcome is fabulous.

Thank you gift card sets 2 ~ CatScrapbooking.comI designed two sets the second one is with Glacier, Flaxen and Thistle reinkers.  I packaged them in sets of 6, two of each of the embossed cards for a great gift card set.

Fundamental Butterfly Cards

I am sure you heard about this months promotion featuring the Enchantment Fundamental Paper pack.  Well I used this paper pack to create these awesome cards designed by Dana Kessler.  I made these cards into gift sets which I sold a craft fair recently.  I packaged them up in sets of five cards.  Here is what they look like. Fundamental Butterfly Cards set 1 ~ catscrapbooking.com

Set number 1 ~ Ruby, Poppy, Goldrush, Saffron, and Fern.Fundamental Butterfly cards set 2 ~ catscrapbooking.comSet number 2 ~ Eggplant, Sapphire, Peacock, New England Ivy and Pomegranate.  I used So Many Smiles C1619, So Many Thanks (retired hostess exclusive) and Say it all C1632 (hostess exclusive) for the sentiments on both sets.

Wine Tags part 2

As promised here are the two holiday wine tags I designed.  These would be great to give as gifts to anyone on your list. If you missed my post from Monday be sure to check it out HERE as I feature two other wine tags plus links to the two I designed last year.

Winter Cheer polar bears on Ice burg wine tag ~ catscrapbooking@gmail.comI so love these cute polar bears which are wafer thin dies I got from Top Dog Dies.   I used Glacier cardstock and the Confetti Embossing folder.  I then cam back and sanded the embossed dots to look like snow.  I used our watercolors to add the shadows on the ice burg.  I used our White Glitter paper with the snowflake dies in the set. The “winter cheer” is from a retired stamp set Polar Bear Holiday.  I then added a two of the Enamel and Glitter Duo Dots.

White Pines Deer Wine Tag 1 ~ Miracle of Christmas ~ CatScrapbooking.com White Pines Deer Wine Tag 2 ~ Miracle of Christmas ~ CatScrapbooking.comFor these tags I used White Pines with the Miracle of Christmas stamp set.  I love this deer!  I stamped the deer in Momento ink then used the watercolors.  I then fussy cut the deers.  I did use the retired stamp set Polar Bear Holiday for the sentiment “Winter Cheer”.

Wine Tags Part 1

This time of year we start to think about saying thanks and giving gifts.  Yes, I know it is hard to believe Christmas will be here next month.  Well often we say thank you by bringing a bottle of wine.  So what would be better than a great wine tag.  No need for gift wrap or a fancy bag, just put one of these on and your recipient will comment on how unique it is.  Here are two tags which I designed which would be great for Thanksgiving or really any time.

Good Cheer Sangria Wine Tag ~ CatScrapbooking.com

This tag was designed using the Sangria paper pack, Thankful Heart B1463, and Harvest Wreath D1662.  I stamped the pumpkin and leaves (using a mask) with Momento ink then watercolored them.Sangria Wine Tag ~ catscrapbooking.comThis wine tag was also used with the Sangria paper and colors.  I used the White Pines Card WOTG stamp set to make the wreath using Cashmere, Pomegranate, Poppy and Fern.  I then use the “thanks” from A Thousand Thanks C1625 with Eggplant ink.

If you liked these but were thinking of making one for the Christmas Holidays then stay tuned as Wednesday I will be showing two more. You can also check out these links to ones I designed last year.

Everything ABC’s ~ X

Welcome to the Everything ABC Blog Hop!

ABC's Blog HopFor this hop we will be featuring the letter “X”.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “X” element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, welcome!  If you just hopped here from LINDA NORMAN’S Blog then you are in the right place.   The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Linda’s blog HERE.

The letter “X” is especially challenging when you are trying to thing of how it can relate to crafting so I am going to stretch it a bit.  I have been working on items for the craft fair I am participating in which is today ~ EEK.  I have been so busy preparing and hoping things will sell well as this is the first time I have done one.  Anyway, I have been working on holiday goodies and since Christmas is some times shortened to X-Mas, I am going to go with that as my “X” element.  Along with the eXcitement that has been building for this Craft Fair.  Now for my project:Animal Greetings ~ Holiday Treat Topper ~ Cat

Here is a close up of each of the animals.Moose Treat Topper ~ Animal Greetings ~ CatScrapbooking.com

Racoon Holiday Treat Topper ~ Animal Greetings ~ CatScrapbooking.com

Bear Holiday Treat topper ~ Animal Greetings ~ CatScrapbooking.com

I so love those cute little critters on the Operation Smile Stamp Set Animal Greeting D1679.  Not only is the stamp set just adorable with every stamp set sold CTMH will donate $7 to Operation Smile!!!  I wanted to make them festive for the holidays so I cut little Santa hats for them.  I did this using a SVG file with my Silhouette.  I used Momento ink to stamp the moose, raccoon and bear on the watercolor paper circles.  Then I used the watercolors to color them.  I found these 1X8″ plastic sleeves which I filled with M&M’s and tied them on using some ribbon.  I just think they are adorable and hope the shoppers do too.

Now it is time to hop on over to DONNA LONG’S Blog and see what she has created for you today.

Mustache Birthday Card

I wanted to share a really simple but fun birthday card that I designed for my cousin’s daughter.  I knew she loved mustaches and even carved a pumpkin with a mustache so I though it would be fun to use the Artfully Sent sleeve cards found on page 40.  Here is how it turned out ~

Mustache Birthday Card ~ Artfully Sent ~ CatScrapbooking.com

Isn’t this fun?  It just makes me smile and it took no time to make it.  It was on cut on my cricut, then grabbed some scraps of cardstock to put behind the mustache cuts and then cut one more Cotton Candy rectangle to go on the inside of the card front so the scraps don’t show.  I then stamped Happy Birthday and I was done.  Seriously this card took me like 15 minutes and that included addressing the envelope 😉

White Pines ~ Gingerbread house layout ~ Artbooking ~ Artistry ~ CatScrapbooking.comI love to decorate gingerbread houses and so I wanted to share this with Gavin.  We invited one of his friends over to join in our fun.  I am not sure who had more fun the kids or us moms :-).   White Pines Candy detail ~ Artbooking ~ CatScrapbooking.comI used the candy border which is from Artbooking and did a little splicing and additions.  The original piece has candy corn ans since this was not Halloween I cut them out and added the individually cut green candy,  I cut the border in Colonial White and in Cranberry.  I cut the red candies from the Cranberry border and covered the Colonial White ones. I added some sparkle with the glitter paper and a bit of dimension with the Fern twine.  I then added the touch of blue by watercoloring two of the candies. Here is another detail..White Pines Candy Detail 2 ~ Artbooking ~ CatScrapbooking.comFor this project I used the following products:
