Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop ~ Sangria

Welcome to the Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop!!  The Stampers with an Attitude is the team lead by Kimberly Moss.  This month the Stampers with an Attitude are going to be showcasing art work with the wonderful fall colored Sangria paper pack. You will just fall in love with the rich colors of this paper pack!!!

If you are just starting here or hopping here from JUDY FAYE GARNER’S Blog  then you are in the right spot.  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating consultant at the end of my blog.

I have been wanting to make one of those fabulous wreaths made out of rolled flowers.  When I saw the colors in the Sangria paper pack X7199B.  I knew it was the right one.  So I rolled like 90 flowers to create this wreath.Sangria ~ flower wreath ~ catscrapbooking.comThe wreath is 13″ foam which I wrapped in burlap so if any spots showed through it would be burlap and not white. I decided since these were fall colors I would add a few leaves.

Sangria ~ Flower Wreath detail 2 ~ catscrapbooking.com

Sangria ~ Flower Wreath detail 3 ~ catscrapbooking.comI actually used three different flowers in three different sizes.  For those of you with a Cricut Explore I used #m44903, #m47643 and #m435f5 all of which are from the Art Philosophy cartridge.  I sized them at 4″, 4.4″ and 4.8″.  For the leaves I used #m473AB from Artbooking (2.8″ high and 2.4″ high), #m58a300 (3.2″ high and 2.4″ high) & #m411c98 (2.19″ high and 2.59″ high) are from Artistry and #m42812 (2.76″ high & 2.2″ high) from Artiste.   I used pearl straight pins to secure the flowers to and leaves to the wreath.

Here is the list of papers used:

  • Sangria paper pack X7199B
  • Cardstock ~ Eggplant, Poppy, Pomegranate, Colonial White, Fern, Desert Sands, Cocoa, and Champange
  • Inks ~ Poppy, Pomegranate, Eggplant, Fern, Desert Sands, Cocoa and Champagne.

Everything ABC’s Blog Hop ~ U

Welcome to the Everything ABC Blog Hop!

ABC's Blog HopFor this hop we will be featuring the letter “U”.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “U” element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, welcome!  If you just hopped here from DARLYS RECKER’S Blog then you are in the right place.   The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Linda’s blog HERE.

Since the letter “U” is sort of elusive as far as incorporating into crafting.  So I decided to look to my cricut keys and USE the images found on the page with the “U” from the Artistry cartridge.  On page 17 is the “U” key and it has a great birthday cuts.

Fall Inspirations ~ Sangria Card Workshop

It is finally beginning to feel like fall here in Colorado.  I sure hope it stays as I love this time of year with the cooler temps.  Enough about the weather… I have been feeling fall inspirations with the Sangria paper Pack.  I have to admit I was not sure about this paper pack but having played with it I am really liking it.  The colors are fabulous as they use several of the new rich Enchantment colors ~ Poppy, Pomegranate, and Eggplant.  I used this paper pack and colors to design my October Card Workshop October 26th at 6:30 PM.  If you are in the Arvada, CO area and would like to come please email me at catscrapbooking@gmail.com for more details and check availability.
