Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter “H”. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “H” element will be featured in their post.
If you have just hopped onto my blog, welcome! If you just hopped here from MARIE GOETZ’S Blog then you are in the right place. The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating consultants on Linda’s blog HERE.
I recently stumbled on a card technique which intrigued me and decided to give it a try, it was the HERRINGBONE technique. Since I still love the HOPSCOTCH paper pack, I thought it would be perfect for this project. I also used the new Operations Smile Stamp set, HAPPY EVERYTHING.
I checked out a YouTube video to learn the technique. The one I watched used 1/4″ paper strips. I wanted to use the chevron pattern paper so I made my strips 7/16″. It was so easy and I love the way it turned out.
Products used for this project:
- Paper Pack ~ Hopscotch (retired)
- Cardstock ~ Glacier, Colonial White and Sorbet
- Stamp Set ~ Happy Everything D1653
- Inks ~ Flaxen, Sunset and Glacier
- Embellishments ~ Bitty Sparkles Z1263
