Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter “V”. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “V” element will be featured in their post.
If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at LINDA’S BLOG ~ SCRAPPY THERAPY . If you just came from Linda’s Blog then you are in the right place.
For my “V” element I decided to stay with the Halloween theme and use Vampire as my focus. If you know me at all or have been following my blog for any period of time you know Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. So it would only be fitting to do another halloween card. I had seen on Pinterest someone had designed a coffin card which I wanted to recreate. I went to my Silhouette and found a coffin card cut then did some welding and modifications resulting in a spider web coffin. Here take a look:
I made a plane cut in Colonial white then using a sponge I applied black ink to the cardstock to create more interest (sorry it does not really show up well in the photo. I also just love the fact you can change the colors of our sequins using our alcohol markers; I turned the silver ones to black.
